Our Two-handed Maciejowski Falchion is based on illustrations from the 13th century Maciejowski Bible, also known as the Morgan Bible or Crusader Bible, a medieval manuscript illustrating Bible stories with medieval clothing and weapons. This weapon also appears in other manuscripts of the period.
It has a broad chopping blade with a serrated edge on the point, giving it a brutal appearance. This is both a ferocious and beautiful weapon of antiquity.
The single-edged blade is wide and flat. The two-handed grip provides a huge surface area to generate leverage when using leverage. Hand forged from high carbon steel by Master craftsmen with wood scales on the handle and antique copper fittings. This single-edged knife has been hand forged from 1075 high carbon weapon grade steel.
