This Saber is a faithful and fine reproduction of a Union Army Cavalry Saber.
The hand-forged blade is high carbon steel, to British military specification, which flexes at over 20° and returns to its original position.
The leather-covered knob is decorated with coiled thread.
The brass guard in the shape of 3 branches is finely chiseled by hand, as is the brass knob.
The blade is beautifully engraved with "US" and "E Pluribus Unum", along with foliage and military trophies.
The steel scabbard has bronze throat, rings and drag.
