This elegantly ornate saber has a blade made of 1065 high carbon steel. Brass hilt, leather pommel with circular decoration and brass guard with hand-chiseled foliage.

This fine reproduction is a faithful copy of a saber that was actually used.

The hand-forged blade is made of steel, according to the finest British military specification, with a bend of more than 20° and returned to its original position.

As befits its rank, this sword displays a high degree of ornamentation.

The brass endpaper is decorated with hand-chiseled foliage and the inscription "US" between the branches. The blade is engraved with foliage, military trophies, "US", "E Pluribus Unum" and "Iron Proof". During the years before the Civil War, many Officers, including General Robert E. Lee, carried this sword in the Indian campaigns.

It comes equipped with a blue steel case.
